Very good drills. Get the job done with no complaints on most projects. Plain and harder steel was not a problem. However, they are far inferior to the hardest and strongest hardened steel. I needed a 1/8" bit to drill four holes in the shank of my knife to accommodate the handle. The knife is made from the hardest hardened steel I've ever come across. The chisel barely left a dent in the steel, and the heat it gave off only made the steel stronger and harder at that point. I found that I needed a carbide tipped stone chisel for this steel. Cut steel with no problem. I had to use two of these bits as the process takes the carried bits to the ground.
