This does the trick of keeping my neck and upper chest warm. I bought the dark purple and that's exactly the color that it is. I was afraid that it might be a bright neon color - because sometimes it's hard to judge color by computer images - but it's a pretty dark purple color. I might buy another one in a different color just to mix it up!Note: By nature, an infinity "scarf" does not have versatility so that's why I gave it a mid-range star.
