My six year old daughter went to dance camp for the first time this summer and was SUPER happy wearing a pink leotard and little skirt so I bought it as the reviews were generally positive was very pink and fluttering. Of course, a friend then gifted us a signature handmade swimsuit which turned out to be too small, but drew my attention to the fact that there are some distinct differences in the tailoring, mainly that this swimsuit has no lining at the top or crotch and was slightly thinner Material. However, this leotard did exactly what I needed to withstand the daily wear and wash at dance camp, and she's a small child so didn't really need chest padding and insisted on wearing panties anyway. So it was still a very sweet win.
