Review on ⏰ Hicarer Quartz Pendulum Trigger Clock Movement Chime Music Box Complete Kit - Includes 3 Pairs of Spades, Fancy, and Straight Clock Hands by Corey Evans

I'm primarily a watchmaker but I work on watches when clients and friends ask me. The kitchen wall clock was brought to me with a broken mechanism. This kit felt right and it was. I replaced an existing Westminster quartz movement with a cabinet mounted speaker with this one. The movement was good, it had 3 sets of hands and a plug for the second hand axle if you decide not to install a second hand (this was the case with this watch and the buyer's choice). The swingarm is only about 5 inches long so I used the stock 9 inch swingarm to keep everything in proportion. The pendulum is short, the hands are long (the minute hand had to be trimmed to keep it from flying off the dial). It uses AA batteries for the movement and 2 AA batteries for the ringer/music block. The instructions are not written in coherent English, so post your questions here. As already mentioned, the mechanism has an optional night mode (it does not chime or ring from 11:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.). Good value for money for this mechanism and parts.
