Poorly machined caliper. They are made from raw steel and coated only with oil to keep them from rusting. I have rust in several places. When I try to open the caliper, it's surprisingly stiff. I believe an 8th grade store could produce a better product. The points do not meet when closed. The tips wore out so quickly that the tips turned blue. There are clear pitting marks everywhere
