I needed a new blender after my 20 year old Auster gave up and died. Of course I went back to Auster for a replacement. What happened to Oyster?! I had this blender less than 6 months and it suddenly died for no reason! I've used it for smoothies about 15 times in those 6 months. This was the limit of its use! How disappointing - AND CRAZY - that the quality of Easter has been degraded as much as it is! For the price, this blender should last you at least a few years, not a few months! I will never buy Oster again and I will not advise anyone to buy Oster!
