Review on ๐Ÿ’ช Powerful Estwing BIG BLUE Framing Hammer: Unmatched Strength for Precision Construction by Justin Hines

This is a great - the best - hammer

This review is for the E3-25SM 25 oz 18 inch long specialty hammer. If you're hand framing the structure with a single hammer, you'll probably want to use something with a hickory or fiberglass handle to be easy on your elbow! More versatile than a real frame hammer like the classic Vaughn 999 with its small cylinder head perfect for banging nails together, or the Vaughn Blue Max "Cali" frame jig with a wider surface area that isn't as great for converging. - Nailing but with a magnet in his head to hold the nail to perform it. Things that set this hammer apart from other hammers: First, the all-metal construction of the head and handle of Ewsting hammers - this style of hammer is just as good for driving nails through studs or roofs as it is for punching holes in turned plaster walls. It's as good as build because it's a demo. One of the things they talk about in the RFP is that no matter what hammer you start wielding, you're going to end up with an Estwing. These hammers can withstand a fall onto a hard surface such as a car. B. the edge of a CMU from a roof, withstand and remain completely intact. Missing a nail is no big deal. The handle is also almost indestructible. I've never had a crash while using it. Second, the length of the handle. At 18 inches, this guy is long. You can find it in your tool belt if you have a hammer loop on the back, but the handle's extra reach and leverage is great for driving nails in, as well as pulling out stubborn "twisted" nails left in the frame. Once you get a grip on the extra 3 inches of the 18" grip, you'll find that it hits the weights just as hard as a 2 pound mall with a 16" grip. An added benefit of the one-piece design is that when you're pulling a 3 1/2" rotary nail into the frame, you don't have to worry about the lever on the head loosening your grip! This one-piece metal construction is Plumb "Permabond" grips. The extra length is also great for using a claw to grab wood for positioning, or to separate a sheet of plywood from a stack on the floor when you're standing. The only downside for some will be the length.
