MUCH CHEAPER AT LOWE'S

Great hammer but they might as well sell it to the government at this price. I wasn't able to test because I thought the items at Revain are "usually" cheaper.

Pros
  • BUILT FOR PROFESSIONALS - plumbers, roofers, carpenters, contractors, tradesmen and serious hobbyists
Cons
  • Safety

Beast Framing Hammer!

Feels great in your hand! I'm 19 and rocked this all day with no problems. As others have said, it's heavy and not for those with flabby underarms. In terms of fit and finish, the facet cut isn't perfect, so you perfectionists might not like it.

Pros
  • PATENTED CUSHIONED GRIP - Comfortable, durable and reduces vibration by 70% on impact
Cons
  • Compatibility

Ideal for demo work.

The weight, length and construction of this hammer is perfect. It has the best nail pulling claw I've found, and the extra few inches on the handle are great for extra leverage. While I think there are better hammers out there for framing work, this hammer is great for anything you can throw at it.

Pros
  • Claw hammers
Cons
  • Discontinued

This is a great - the best - hammer

This review is for the E3-25SM 25 oz 18 inch long specialty hammer. If you're hand framing the structure with a single hammer, you'll probably want to use something with a hickory or fiberglass handle to be easy on your elbow! More versatile than a real frame hammer like the classic Vaughn 999 with its small cylinder head perfect for banging nails together, or the Vaughn Blue Max "Cali" frame jig with a wider surface area that isn't as great for converging. - Nailing but with a magnet in his…
