Review on 🚗 Garmin Friction Mount and Carrying Case Kit for nüvi: Ideal Accessory for 3.5-Inch and 4.3-Inch Displays by Cara Ulfass

This is a fantastic pair of accessories and is everything I need to "pump up" my Garmin Nuvi 40LM. The mount works surprisingly well and the case fits the 40LM perfectly, but make sure you know how to use it (instructions below). but I didn't want to spend twenty-five dollars on the other kind that Revain sells. When I saw that this kit was cheaper than just fitting somewhere else I decided it was worth a try. Installing the GPS device in the mount at various angles is quick, and the bottom of the mount sits on the dashboard relatively easily. At first it looked like it was going to slide (or tip over), but I've just driven 1800 miles and it hasn't moved an inch in all that time. It wobbles very slightly when going around tight corners or big bumps, but it immediately returns to its original position. Perhaps best of all, after driving you can easily remove the GPS and then simply remove the mount from the dash and put it out of sight so thieves never know you have it. There are many GPS cases out there, but this one is a little different. I confess I spent about five or ten minutes looking at it and figuring out how to fit my 40LM (4.3 inch screen) into this case. I've tried it horizontally, vertically, diagonally, whatever; but nothing happened. Then I started looking through the reviews of Revain and saw that there was a trick, although I still couldn't figure it out. It finally dawned on me that I needed to grab the small cord sticking out from the center of the shield and pull it down until it looped around the Garmin button. (Think of it like a rubber band that you have to attach, like you did on one of those old-fashioned model airplanes.) The main thing to remember is that the flap doesn't fall all the way over the GPS, but not none Worry - it fits in your pocket well and is well protected.
