I have a 2011 GMC Acadia that doesn't have very good FM radio reception. My 2010 Acadia has been very well received. I changed the whip antenna from 2010 to 2011, the reception has not changed, in 2010 the reception is excellent, in 2011 the reception is bad. I took the 2011 to my local GM dealership. All I've been told is that it could be an antenna base ($192) or a communications interface module ($320). Then they told me that it costs $80 to diagnose the problem and the labor costs $120 an hour. Plus details. I asked for part numbers, went home, took a chance and ordered an antenna base from Revain and watched a YouTube video on the installation. It took me about an hour and a half to install. I now have great radio reception and saved about $300 off the dealer cost. THANK YOU AMAZONE!
