Not bad overall, high price, although some expensive features such as Bluetooth and data logging should be noted. The Android app may need some improvement, but overall it's functional. A screenshot in the app would be nice, even if the data can be exported. The meter is a bit slower to capture the DC motor's starting current, but it's possible. Wintertick measurements with 03 alh tdi (-10F) showed 390 amps at the starter (obviously a cold start) and managed to catch the starting current at 602 amps. the glow plugs measured about 60 amps (wiring harness measured) although the current draw dropped to 18 seconds and then to zero (ngk plug design, no overcooking, youtube comparison videos). The extra digit for measurement resolution helps, but range limits can be an issue. Read the manual before measuring material. I used Mastech ms3300 1000a AC/DC clamp sensor. Obviously the accuracy of the mv scale is important. Meter seems decent and generic, although own name/number scheme seems odd, from 1337 they say pov (b35t/b41t, best/bait). Both counters are expensive, $40/60 seems to be the best strategy to saturate the market. Video by Joe Smith on YouTube for an overview of destructive analysis testing.
