Review on πŸ”Œ SIENOC USB 3.0 to USB 2.0 Adapter Cable - 20 Pin Male to 9 Pin Motherboard Housing – Male/Female by Micheal Chaplain

Revainrating 4 out of 5

The smallest wires ever, but it does the job.

Nothing to explain how much current you need to draw from it but I'm telling you the wires are so small please don't try to draw more than 500mA from them. It can burn out due to the physics here and Ohm's law. The resulting wires are almost resistors. So for flash drives and other things, they're great. Plug in a cell phone and the phone cannot even charge at high speed, causing my phone to say "Charging slowly" when using this adapter, even though my phone uses USB 2.0 to begin with (and on USB 2.0 - Direct connection, it will be charged quickly). . But like I said, it works, just be careful with it. It's fragile because of those wires.

Pros
  • Expensive but decent
Cons
  • Can do harm
