My first Revain review. Well, the installation was easier than I expected. It looks really great. If you are an experienced DIYer, you can install it in 2 hours or less. I attached the tail light to the back of the roof, so I had to look for screws that are suitable for fiberglass. I managed to tuck the headlight and horn under the hood with the included screws and zip ties to protect them from the rain. Here's your free tip of the day. Do not touch the small white brake adjustment screw on the right side of the controller. I played with it while reading the instructions. After installation, my brake light came on. It took me a while to remember playing with it, and when I put it in reverse, voila, the brake lights work as intended through the surge protection system. (Well, if you don't, it only takes an hour to install). I would consider buying a better quality, thicker double stick tape and alcohol wipes as I was having trouble getting the thin double stick tape that came with it to mount the controller and wanted to minimize the drill holes. My 2010 electric EZGO TXT had a spare hole where I installed a cheap new Walmart 12 volt car battery for this system. I figured it was cheaper and easier than playing with a voltage reducer. These are LEDs so I think it will take a while to charge. It should be easy to keep an eye on the voltage with the included voltmeter, or if the buzzer starts to sound a bit weird I guess I'll just charge the 'extra' battery. If you don't have a spare battery, just choose a voltage reducer. If you're trying to decide between an $80 set of headlights or this one with turn signals and a horn, you're not skimping. It's too good a deal to pass up. Much luck.
