Not bad for the price. I got similar glasses from CVS about 4-5 years ago to carry in my bag for meetings, menus, etc. I started using it more often and after about a year of regular use it started to open and close poorly. So I bought these current glasses, 2 for the price of 1 Foster Grants. The case is a cheaper imitation, but half the price, so what. The glasses looked about the same. And they were firm, not slipping when I looked down. Ideal! But the lifespan is less than half of the original Foster Grants I bought. So if you plan on keeping them primarily in your bag, your car, or somewhere for "emergencies", 2 is better than one. If you intend to use them regularly, don't expect them to last a year. They will continue to work, but they won't fit properly and will feel worn when you open them. Personally, I plan to buy a few more to keep on my desk for extra magnification on small details or to check for tiny imperfections. Since I won't be making this every day, they're perfect for that.
