I have a lot of radios and this thing is by far the cheapest DOO-DOO piece I've seen. There is no lateral pressure on the telescopic antenna, otherwise it will break off. Also, the plastic in the body gives a raw new meaning. In terms of reception, FM is ok, AM isn't so good, the bandwidth is too wide, if you're trying to listen to something close to a strong station, forget it. As for short waves, forget it. FM leaks everywhere, you can't hear anything. I took it apart, and the AM antenna isn't even done right. I could go on, but you get the idea.
