Review on 🌿 16-Ounce Pond Gel Filter Pad Bacterial Inoculant - Microbe Lift GEL16 by Steve Willis

Although the smell is not very pleasant, it is bacteria so this is to be expected. I use this to add extra bacteria to my filter pads after many water changes, which will most likely destroy the favorable environment for the bacteria. It is easy to use by simply spraying the heavy liquid onto and/or between the filter pads and allowing it to take effect. I don't have any stats to back this up, but we haven't lost a koi or goldfish in over 6 years. Unfortunately, our filter can clog and overflow, resulting in extremely low water levels in the pond. This results in more water exchange than intended, so I rely on this product to quickly restore my bacteria levels. Highly recommended.
