Base mount too wide for my SnugTop Topper rails on my Tacoma. So I have to go to Home Depot to find some aluminum that I can cut into small squares to fit the rails. But really the hook part is the part that I cared about the most. It will be just right if I can attach it. I'm glad I bought them. I will add an update when everything is ready. UPDATE I took a base flat bar and cut it down for my rails, drilled and screwed holes to use the same screws that came with the original kit. It worked great. I also sprayed them on the bed upholstery for all the rusting complaints I've seen in other reviews. I bought some aluminum crossbar tubes online and they work great. See photos. All in all it was about $100 for everything! MUCH better than third party racks that cost $600!
