Review on πŸš— MEIDI Wireless Car Charger: Efficient 10W Auto Clamping QI Car Phone Charger with One Step Sense Air Vent Phone Holder by Robert Ryokan

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Just don't touch the sides!

I got a phone holder for my car after my GPS broke and I had to use a combination of Waze and Google Maps to get to my destination. Unfortunately, my cup holders are fairly low and centered on the car, making it inconvenient to face the camera (and thus look away from the road). I knew I needed something bigger, and the only space available on my small dash was the air vents. Log in to MEIDI. I also just got a new iPhone that charges wirelessly. Of course, MEIDI does two things: charge and hold the phone. However, it works better and has motors to hold your phone. This is a little tricky as pressure on the bottom hook will cause it to close and any movement on the sides will open the charger. So if for some reason you touch the side of the phone, it may open and fall out. It took me a while to figure out how this charger works; You can't touch it when it's in the base, so you don't have to adjust the volume buttons on the side, for example (you can just touch the screen). Of course, when I brought my son to camp, my navigation was completely out of order and I had to use my phone. The difference was huge, and considering the trip lasted over an hour, charging my phone while I was using it for navigation was a huge time saver.

Pros
  • Nice design
Cons
  • Gotcha
