These are good solid threaded spindle rods and they look exactly like the picture. Unfortunately they didn't fit in my baby gate because they are too big for the holes. That's 10mm, and apparently I needed 8mm, which I didn't know when I bought it. They were also a little shorter than I would have liked. I would recommend them to anyone who needs 10mm base length spindle screws. They were also sent quite quickly, I only received them after 3 days.
