Review on ๐Ÿ’ก Efficient and Brilliant: Incandescent Equivalent Bright Energy Lighting by Steven Kile

Revainrating 4 out of 5

The lamp is smaller than expected but lights up perfectly

Wrong photo used in description as pointed out by another reviewer. Bulb A15, not A19. I've attached a photo to see the difference. Still, they look good and I'm not chasing the 25-watt equivalent. Lamps A19. They're harder to get at 3000k unless I pick them unnecessarily. The light is perfect for what I wanted as this light shines into the kitchen as well. Responding to a few complaints from other reviewers. One said that these lamps are not warm white. This is because the color temp. 3000k as described, not 2700k. 4000k-5000k is daylight. I've also complained that they hum and flicker when dimmed. As described, these lamps are not dimmable. I assume that dimming could destroy the bulb. In addition, it is also described whether the lamps are dimmable. On a positive note, brightness is what I wanted so I could use all 5 sockets in my light. I had lightbulbs that were too bright so I only used 4 sockets for a long time. My CFL burned out in socket 5. Photo of a lamp with new bulbs. Although I only gave the pears 4 stars, I still recommend them.

Pros
  • Color rendering index: RA>80. Great color consistency
Cons
  • Very expensive
