It's ok if you have a high enough suspension point

I was glad to get this as I'm unable to go to my current gym due to the pandemic. Installation was easy at first. I filled it up to 70 pounds (weighed on a scale), hung it up and slapped it a few times. While hits in the middle felt nice and firm, any hits closer to the tip were answered with softness. The straps are too long, and depending on where I hung, 7ft, my straights and jabs landed on top. That's saying something since I'm only 5ft 5in tall. With no way to hang it higher or adjust the straps, it was like picking up an empty bag. I was determined to get it working, so I padded it out a bit. more air with water, up to 105 lbs. When I filled it with water I filled it until I saw water at the top of the bag. A success, the top was quite firm although not as firm as the mids. I hung it up and it was a short workout. The next day I gave it a few straights and was disappointed when the top wasn't tight anymore. Somehow it seems to have lost some air, perhaps due to temperature shifts (hanging in the garage. I was able to fill it with plenty of air and water, but dumping and reweighing a 100 lb sack every time I wanted to use it , is quite a duty 1.5 or so If you want to hang it higher and land a few kicks or body shots, you're no longer hitting a hard water bag, but instead you're hitting a water bag, air cushion, a little more resistance, but not what I'm for I paid for it and sent it back due to inability to hold my breath.

Pros
  • Excellent construction
Cons
  • Hard to tell
