Review on Carriage Designjet Plotter C7770 60014 42 Inch by Paul Martindale

Having been a specialist in 'old school' copiers and printers for over 40 years, I don't normally use spare parts. Since my regular sellers were out of stock and needed them quickly for one of my biggest customers, I took the risk. I got concerned when I saw that the entire belt has grooves that the OEM doesn't have, but they work great with the ungrooved pulley that comes with the belt. The real test, of course, is how long does this belt last? Perhaps the presence of grooves throughout the belt will help extend its life. The time will show. 3+ years on the average user's computer would be acceptable. If the belt fails prematurely I will write another review to warn others.
