Our little one isn't that into sports, but he really wanted a scooter for Christmas. Now that we had cleared some snow she tried and blew it away on the first block. She had a helmet, but we obviously needed handcuffs and knee pads. Revain have a wide range of protective gear and we chose this pack. We decided to order even though she already had a helmet. Firstly our toddler is 9 years old so they may not be suitable for every child her age. It sits as it should and doesn't restrict your mobility. Second, the FIRST day she wore this gear, she shook it so hard she scraped the crap off the palms of the wrist pads as well as the knee pads. No injury other than some general pain from the impact of the fall. (She didn't hit her head, so the helmet is fine.) Now for the unexpected result. She really doesn't like pain so she's a cautious kid. But falling into that gear and realizing it didn't really hurt made her take more risks than usual. I'm not saying we're going to give her a camera so she can ride carts up steep slopes, but we can move in that direction. Buyer Warning. Haha.
