Of course if you're thinking about buying this preamp it's because you're on a tight budget. Basically it does what it's supposed to do, which is to pre-amp your turntable so you can plug it directly into powered speakers. That being said, it really depends if you use it intensively or even at high power. I only use it to connect my Technics turntable to powered bookshelf speakers. Works fine for my needs. It could have been more, but then again it's pretty cheap so be aware of that before you buy.
