I got this a few months ago, not sure when I'll be using it. Today I experimented with making a large (14" x 18") box with a dovetail mount that I recently received. Despite warnings about using unwarped wood, I went with cheap white wood as it was my first try. DAS was a big mistake as it seemed almost impossible to tighten the joints around the entire edge. Then I remembered this little device. I tied it to one end and snapped it down and that corner folded like magic. I attached a clip to the end, moved this tape clip to the other end and did the same. The results were incredible - he removed all the warping and made the joint fit perfectly at the top and bottom. the seam. Doing the same would require at least four (maybe six) pipe clamps, and that made it quicker and easier. What makes this work so good are the four corner fittings that bring the work together to form a perfect 90° angle. This makes this product much better than a regular band clamp. I have just ordered a second one and know it will have many uses in the store. Highly recommended.
