I usually buy Avia socks in W•M but after seeing how they stretch around the ankle and are thin at the heel I settled on these. Great reviews and I can see why. They are soft and thick but not too thick. They came out of the wash as big as they came in. Didn't shrink or fall apart. The seams on the toes don't bother me at all. I can hardly tell what's there. Best of all, and it sounds fun, but I like colorful fingers. I can quickly pick up socks and put them away. I recommend.
