This is the third of these kits that I own and they are great for load balancing, cargo capacity and stability of any truck. They are relatively easy to install and reliable. In fact, the Ford models I've bought are factory coded for use with Ford Super Duty pickups, but I was able to adapt them to two F-150s with little to no effort. On the F-150, these kits effectively increase payload capacity to 3/4 ton pickup level and are particularly useful when towing trailers close to the truck's rated capacity. They keep the truck level so your headlights aren't aimed at the sky, and add a really noticeable level of stability by eliminating the tendency for heavy loads, whether in the truck bed or on a trailer, to cause the car to sway . I've used a set of these jacks on a '98 F-150 for over 10 years and they have never leaked or become unreliable, despite the car seeing its fair share of road salt and driving over 185,000 miles. I bought the last of 3 kits to assemble a Ford F-350 two wheeler and they do the job perfectly.
