Review on πŸ”¨ Stanley TR250 SharpShooter Heavy Duty Staple: Ultimate Stapling Solution for Heavy-Duty Projects by Eduardo Reyes

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Project of a real master

Special for a real master. This stapler does not feed staples reliably. Upon closer inspection, it turned out that the staples in the feed ramp are hanging just in front of the firing pin. At the end of the feed ramp was a silvery piece of metal that rose above the feed ramp and prevented the staples from reaching the end of the feed ramp and plunger. I disassembled the stapler and placed a piece of silver metal ('U' shaped, about the width of the hull) at or below the level of the feeding table. (To disassemble the stapler you will need to loosen the 4 tamper proof screws that hold the halves of the stapler body together. Once reassembled it will insert the staples securely and should work as intended. Fingers crossed. Update: My attempt at repair failed due to reliability improve. Although it fired staples during my post-repair test, when I actually used it it would fire repeatedly. Unfortunately, it chose to operate at the shooting range and was accidentally hit by a couple of shots. Several times... don't recommend this one Stapler.Reluctantly give 1 star for poorly executed design.
