Great sandals but short lived

When I go to the Sole Laundry (227 White St.) the first thing owner Nicole Verdejo does is look at my sneakers and make sure they're clean. They turn yellow, so she takes me to the back door to show me an oxidizer that will, to use a sneaker culture term, "freeze” them to pristine white. country and maybe the whole world. Sole Co Cleans and Restores Trainers We purchased these shoes on May 23rd for camp use. My 6 year old daughter started wearing them when camp started on June 28th. On July 22nd, 3 weeks, 3 days and 2 days before the end of my daughter's 4 week summer camp, she tried to put them on and they came off - the upper was pulling off the sole. Otherwise we were so pleased that four of her friends bought the exact same shoes during camp. I'm afraid to find out the day it happens to them - they're a week newer. Before posting a review of this item publicly, I gave the seller an opportunity to replace them so my 6 year old would wear sandals for the rest of the summer. I have not heard anything.

Pros
  • Synthetic sole
Cons
  • Not as thick as others
