Review on 🔧 Enhance Engine Performance with Dorman 594-236 Harmonic Balancer for Ford / Mercury Models by Larry Lackings

The Harmonic Balancer on my 2004 Explorer 4.0L V6 Flex Fuel comes in two parts. It was the right replacement. Buy a new center bolt for it from a Ford dealer (cost me $8). The universal puller/assembly kit is not very suitable. To remove the old one, I bought a 5.5" 3/8" carriage bolt and put it in the center hole so the puller would push on it. To install, I screwed in a spare pulley with an old bolt and then tightened it with a new bolt from the dealer. It's probably not the best way, but I couldn't find any other tools that worked for me. Dorman makes quality products and it was $20 cheaper here than my local parts store.
