Review on TubShroom Revolutionary Protector Catcher Strainer by Anthony Record

Half true advertisement

Let's get down to business. While I love this product and would recommend it, the ads are rubbish. I have owned this product for several weeks. I have curly, thick hair just above my shoulders. (if interested) I tested it for a week because I wanted to give it enough time to form an unbiased opinion. The ad shows hair going down the drain and into the TubShroom BUT it doesn't show the hair with hair products, soaps or dirt and oils on your body. The mix of these things actually causes a small drainage issue and after about a couple of days of use, water started pooling at the bottom of my tub. My husband actually took it once when he showered so he didn't have to stand in it. So I suggest changing it every few days instead of once a week. Cleaning is also a little tricky. Since most people shower at least once a day, the TubShroom is always wet. In the ad, it is removed when the hair is completely dry, so it just slides off. Well, a hair product, and in my case my husband alternates his shower schedule with mine, keeping it moist which makes it a bit difficult to "remove hair in one simple motion". Dishwashing liquid to wash off the hair product and all other dirty things. I've since put it back in and found a good cleaning schedule for it and haven't had any drainage issues since. This is a good product and I recommend it, but I suggest considering the things I mentioned. .
