I have a new camera and I really like the new features (adjustable field of view, voice control and 8x zoom) that were not present in my 50.1 version Well. The viewing angle is adjustable (wide/medium/narrow).2. Voice control via wrist remote for only 4 functions (start/stop video, take photo or turn off camera).3. The 8x zoom (my favorite feature) is controlled by the up/down buttons on the side of the camera. Additional Notes: 1. There are many features and accessories for both cameras that I'm still trying to find to try (discovery: I'm not good at sports)2. I plan to use (both cameras) for travel - so use the same batteries and accessories.3. Automatic low-light and exposure settings are useful for portraits indoors or against light backgrounds.4. Excellent customer service! I received replies in less than 10 minutes (Note: I send emails from the PST zone in the evenings and their email has a timestamp of around 12 hours)5. These cameras are excellent value for money.
