I was looking for a ladder stabilizer as my wife and I own a small business where every job requires me to climb on the roof. In some places, an extension ladder can be difficult to maneuver and there isn't always the space needed for the size of a regular stabilizer. Also, access can sometimes be on a corner or simply inconvenient. Then there's the fact that you're climbing 30+ feet of stairs and you have absolutely no stability at the top. Also, I didn't want those big "horns" all over the roof of my van. So instead of buying two separate attachments, one of which I might have to detach to use the other, the angled bracket and hook combo is EXACTLY what I need. The hooks are easy to remove and very easy to hang. Plus, they fold up for neat storage. All hardware and mounts have been included with detailed instructions. However, I deviated slightly from the instruction, but that's because I didn't want to cut the step. I got it working and it's definitely very strong. And I NEVER advise not following the manufacturer's instructions. I will state unequivocally that I have worked to my advantage with my particular ladder (Werner) and I am very satisfied with the product. Thank you for reading!
