Works very well and takes some getting used to at first. It's just nice to know that the cars behind you know where you're going. Update July 9th 2021 I was having trouble attaching the lantern to the bracket provided. After I rode my bike to work, I wanted to put my bike away and heard something fall. It was the light falling out of the mount. The little square piece that holds it is too small because it broke loose on hitting bumps in the road, allowing the light to slide out.
