DVD Reads Well, Slow Interface/Response
This DVD player is slow. Press the open button and it takes 3-4 seconds to open, so press it harder again for 2 seconds to register a second event and finally open and close the compartment again. Repeat a few times at first and it gets annoying. It takes some time to find the DVD format. When played at 1080i the screen looks fine over HDMI but I'm no expert. Works with many formats I've thrown at it. The only claim to the interface and slowness.
