Everyone should have this fitting. It made a huge difference in the smell, taste of my water. I have stopped buying bottled water as I have a hard time getting it from the supermarket every week. Now I only fill pitchers and even keep a separate one for pets. How safe is it to give them bleach to drink and God knows what else. Cats used to sniff water before drinking it, now they don't do it like they know it's been "fixed." The only complaint is that I go through a fair amount of filters. I don't know, maybe I just have very bad water. However, the cost of this isn't that great, and I usually find packs of at least three. All I know is that it's worth it for both humans and kittens.
