I bought a 2001 Toyota Celica in 2018 for 70,000 that has sat for years. The first 5,000 on the car, with every fill up, the Check Engine light came on. Did the usual setup (spark plugs, injectors, ignition coils) with all the OEM components and it worked fine until I filled it with regular gas. Every time I fill up the car the car stalls and loses compression. In the end, the CEL readout showed 1310, which meant the ignition coil. Bought to last until OEMs come along. The car's CEL is off and won't stop! I decided to return the normal ignition coils. They seem to work better as of 12/24/20. Update in 6 months!
