Replacement gaskets not in stock

I bought this replacement elbow in January 2016 and my first reaction was a good investment with two day shipping from Amazon. But after about a year, a leak appeared in the rear right. I couldn't fix it at the time so I just filled it with water as it only drove on weekends in the summer hence a spot of rust in the photo. It's possible I overdid it during installation. Now my complaint: as soon as I pulled it out this month and saw that the water seal was deformed (hence the leak) I went in search of a replacement seal kit. Neither Revain nor local parts dealer websites list anything. So I dug up the receipt and called ATP's technical support hotline. APT advised me to purchase an OEM seal kit which is available at any parts store and I was assigned a part number (FelPro MS92836-1). He told me to take their gaskets off the manifold and use OEM FelPro gaskets. I bought a $42 OEM gasket kit and when I compared the very thin gasket line of the OEM gasket part to this manifold I decided the chance of a leak was low. So the problem is, if you ever take that manifold off the engine, you can't buy special gaskets for it. I decided my time was worth more than an American Dorman. Also, if I ever need them, I can buy special Dorman replacement gaskets at any of the three local major chain auto parts stores. It may last forever, but understand that the manifold is made in China and there are no replacement gaskets.
