I don't usually write many reviews but I wanted to write about this heater. little rinay. The remote control failed on a 12 year old heater and it was expensive to replace everything. I bought the smaller Rinnai and was a little worried it wasn't big enough for my sundeck. Boy was I wrong. My sunny porch is 12L x 16H x 8H with 2 skylights and double glazed windows. The temperature is 28 degrees and the wind is blowing at 15 miles per hour. The room was 41 degrees when I turned it on. For half an hour it was 51 degrees. There is no doubt that I bought the right heater. This 10,000 BTU heater performs better than the 32,000 BTU heater it replaced! I believe this is because the fan pushes and circulates the heat across the floor instead of going straight up to the ceiling. I am really enthusiastic about this heater and can recommend it to everyone. I can't believe how much better this thing is compared to the old stove top heater that was 3x the BTU rating.
