Review on 🚗 Dorman 602-205 Windshield Wiper Transmission by Oso Mears

Parts are physically different from original parts. The part is installed and works as expected. The item came with instructions, very detailed instructions. Visit youtube.com for installation instructions. The instructions included in the box exactly match the instructions on YouTube, but not all. A few installation notes/tutorials. 1) Wiper arms must be removed. The washer fluid hoses do not have to be removed. Just put your hands on the engine compartment. 2) Remove the gearbox. The wiper gear is part of this review. 3) Rotate wiper with delay and stop movement and remove key once movement stops (i.e. stop delay position). 4) Insert gear. Lever position should be approximately 2 o'clock from the front of the vehicle. 5) Torx screw must be installed and tightened to specification. To do this, the instructions suggest using a screw clamp to apply the required torque. I didn't have to use the C-clamp and so far everything is fine after 2 weeks of snow and freezing rain. 6) Position the wiper arms so that they close better, then tighten the nuts (metric thread). The replacement part does not have the same appearance as the original part. But it seems to be working fine.
