That's all you expect (hope) when you order furniture online. It was packed really well. It comes semi-assembled. Super easy to assemble. The instructions are simple and easy to follow. The instructions omit instructions for attaching the spindles to the chair, which I believe is optional. It seemed pretty solid without them, but I'm quite tall, as is my husband, so I used screws to attach them. It only took me 20 minutes to put the chair together and that was with cats on the go lol. I love that there is a flap under the pillow to hide the springs and screws. Every part of this chair is custom made and it shows. The end result is a stable chair. My basement floor is also a little uneven and the legs come with stabilizer bars which was a nice surprise that I wasn't expecting. This chair is comfortable and looks great. I will be buying another one to complete the pair!
