I bought this for the trip I was traveling on. My plans included hiking near rocks and water, so I knew I wanted to take photos but was also afraid of dropping my new iPhone 11 Pro Max. I figured it would provide extra support so I could safely carry it around hazards like this. AND THE BOY WAS, I'M RIGHT. It worked perfectly and never gave me any problems. I paired it with a Manfrotto mini tripod via the threaded mount on the bottom and the combination was amazing, especially with the detachable and rechargeable trigger. The clip mechanism is solid and holds my phone perfectly in the Apple leather case. I noticed that the clamp was almost exhausted with this combination. So if you want an Otterbox Defender case on a big phone like the new Pro Max, it could be a tough push. Honestly, I couldn't ask for more. . I wish the black version was available for the same price, but for $15 I can handle the yellow one. To be honest, the full package that comes with a lot of things doesn't have as much value as the basic $15 option. Definitely the best bang for your buck. Just buy it if you are a photographer and have a nice phone that you don't want to drop, you won't be disappointed.
