Review on Tangle Teezer Styler: Achieve Smooth and Detangled Hair with Lilac Gleam Brush by Busaba Lek ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

The item was good, I'll recommend it to my friends.

Six months in, I still love this brush. My stylist suggested it when I started experiencing severe knotting in my hair. A smaller, more portable model was consciously selected. The shape is pleasant to hold, takes up little room, and is easy to operate. The comb's cap protects the villi from getting squished in transit, and since it doesn't open, it's not a hassle to store. The miracle of the combing did not occur. Whenever my long, thick hair is really tangled, I comb it out starting at the tips, as I would with any other brush. This comb tends to yank out hair, at least that's what I've noticed (this may be subjective due to the specific sound when combing). It ignores mats of any size like they don't exist, leaving you with nothing but your bare hands to unravel. While I am aware of the technique of using a wet comb to create a blunt fringe, I rarely use it. After a thorough cleaning, let the comb to air dry with the teeth facing down and without the lid. To remove hair from between the villi is a really challenging task. In the end, I take it with me on hikes because it is so useful outside the house.

Pros
  • A portable, cozy, and hygienic design.
Cons
  • Avoids tangles by avoiding comb overs.
