In the end it works as planned. Videos on the internet show an emergency release cable that ends at the drawbar cover. This is not the case in V2. Also, the ground wire is too short so it ends up somewhere on the frame and not the battery, but the instructions don't say that either. The main brain unit is mounted on the front of the car. I used the supplied adhesive pads and glued them to the aluminum cross member at the front. The "suction lock" assembly presented in V2 also differs greatly from the videos on the Internet. Large spacers are needed between the device and the car. A thinner washer runs between the head of the bolt and the lock assembly. Take your time to line up the hood latch lock! The instructions don't convey that very well. In addition, there is no marking on the cable assembly, what and where is connected? There is one more stub that is not good. I assume it's for speed and climb height programming? I do not know. The worst part of this setup is installing the new strut mounts. Everything is fine on the passenger side, but it is very difficult on the driver's side. Very little room for a large hand. I believe another brand option available for power frunk has a bolt post like the one you shoot over those brackets Hansshow has. It is highly recommended to put a rag in before attempting to install the bracket from either side in case you drop the bracket or screw. I dropped the passenger side mount and it went all the way to the pan underneath. I had to remove the nut to drop the extraction cup. The racks snap into place, but again that's tricky if you don't have space. I don't know if it's easier to connect the hood side or the body side first? I made a hood based on a youtube video but I would say it wasn't easy. On a scale of 1 to 10 for ease of installation, I'll give this product a 9. The instructions are terrible.
