This is my first universal remote and I bought it because I added the Vizio soundbar to my setup. I drowned in remote controls: one for the TV, one for the Blue Ray, and one for the soundbar. Vizio UR was easy to program for my Samsung TV and BD player. This is sufficient for normal everyday use. I still use specific remotes for some tasks because I haven't had the time or patience to figure out which button is responsible for all functions. My wife is still getting used to the idea of selecting a device (TV, audio, etc.) before performing a function. It beats the tiny remote that came with the soundbar. The price was more than right at Revain so go ahead and buy. Just keep special remotes for more advanced tasks where you can find them.
