Review on BBQ Dragon Stainless Folding Skewers by Warrick Infinite

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Price for the convenience... (totally worth it)

Dragon Style Domino Skewers Skewers: $32.98 at time of review I like to think of myself as a grill master. I've been doing this for almost 20 years, but it seems this old dog can still learn new tricks. I have other metal skewers, but I really liked the design of these skewers (mounted on a stand that can rotate at once). *What I liked*: This whole set is stainless steel. This is great as they are easy to care for and difficult to damage. The skewers are made from flat steel and are approximately 3/16" wide making it easier for meat/vegetables to stay on. The tricks of this skewer set is absolutely the best part. There is a protruding protrusion at the end of the handle of each skewer, so if you turn the first skewer, everyone else will turn with it. It works exactly as advertised (with one caveat, which I'll address below). Turning all the skewers at once is very convenient. I don't want to forget the grid. Keep the skewers off the grill so they don't stick, which means they're easier to turn and less likely to burn. You miss the grill marks, but it's a sacrifice I'm happy to make. *What I didn't like*: Because of the width of the grill, you can't make particularly large (width or length) skewers. . They are listed as 14 inch skewers but I think you have about 10 inch skewers max. Since the edge of the rack is close to the outer skewers, I would save your smaller cuts of meat/veg for the outer 2 rows. I've had issues with meat sticking to the grate itself. The price is really quite high considering what you get. The regular price for this set is around $33. I was able to find a number of other sets at half the price at Revain with nearly double the amount of skewers (but no grill and they don't all spin together). * Conclusion: * In general I am satisfied. spend money on this set. The convenience of flipping them all at once (with one hand) along with a stand to keep them off the grilling surface is great. You just have to ask yourself if you're willing to pay extra for it. I will say that my kebabs come out a lot better on these skewers that gives it a solid five stars out of five. I would buy them again.
