This is a pretty good harness for the price. It is soft and well made and my cat felt comfortable in it. XS fits my medium sized cat. The only thing I didn't understand is that the neck piece, although adjustable in size, doesn't have opening clips like the ones around the chest. You will need to loosen the neck straps so you can place the harness on your cat's head, and then tighten them again once the harness is fully on. This is a bit awkward and can be difficult if your cat resists the process. However, once it's on it clips around the neck fairly easily and I doubt a cat would be able to slip out easily, although I'm no expert.
