First impression: they look neat, the foam is not cheap. The foam isn't quite flat, 1/3 in the middle, but the sides taper to about half the thickness, giving it the shape of a very flat trapezoid. They come with 2 glossy end caps and 2 strips of matte black tape, presumably for finishing. Installation: This was my first time wrapping a handlebar, so bear with me. They're a bit stretched. I tested the packaging a couple of times to see how the thickness changes and got it a third time. If you wrap so that only the tapered sides overlap, the foam will come out evenly. Once you get close or have to account for corners, the corners get bumpier (maybe I could do better, but I'm not a pro). I trimmed off some excess when wrapping my drop bars, which are one of the longest styles on the market, so you definitely have enough length for each side of a bar. I didn't just finish the packaging with the tape that came with it. Duct tape is very similar to regular tape or duct tape in that it does not have elasticity and therefore creases easily. I ended up with a bunch of tape and put matte tape over it which came out fine. After installation: After about 3 weeks of mostly sun and some rain, they feel good. I don't feel them dry. Of course it's too early to tell how long it will last, but for the price I'm happy with a couple of years. I will add photos soon.
