Watercolorists, read that

This review is all about painting through watercolor paper. Drawing on 140# paper works great in all conditions. If you work with 300# paper, read on. This lightbox works great with one small problem. You have to work with it at night. You can hardly see through 300# paper when there is ambient light in the room. However, when the lights go out, you'll be shocked at how well it works. You can see many tracking details. It's also useful to have an L-cutoff to hide the extra illuminated surface if your paper is smaller than the lightbox. Tracing through a darker image is a bit more difficult than through a normal or light image. I do two things when I have a very dark image. I make a lighter print or print on transparencies. Using the above methods, I have yet to find an image that I can't transfer to 300# watercolor paper. I was not paid anything for this completely unbiased review - it just turned out to be a very good product for my purposes.
