Great value for the quantity and taste of the product.

I opened it to food test before buying more and I have to say I'm impressed so far. I've really liked what I've tried so far. I used a water bottle and it does the job pretty well. A fire starter won't get you through the month, but it will allow you to start your first fire and you can use it to make charred cloth if you really need it. This is more of a bonus than a main feature of the set. The bucket comes with food. Everything is packed in vacuum bags of 6-15 servings. I don't get it all back even after eating 3 packs of food. The crockery provided is actually more of a side dish. So while it can serve as a month's meal, I believe the true value is the foundation for building. It seems pretty easy to find one for around $100 including shipping. So the price for this amount of food will be quite difficult. Potato soup: very good. I added salt and pepper. The potatoes will separate from the rest of the soup mix in the bag, so you'll need to stir them before cooking if you're cooking fewer than the 6 servings included in each bag. You will receive 5 packs. Macaroni and Cheese: I liked it too. Also added salt and pepper. but i like salty. Cheese powder and pasta are supplied separately. You will receive 4 packs of pasta. Each contains 7.5 servings. Cheese comes in 2 pouches, each containing 15 servings. Bags are not resealable. The advantage of separating it into pasta and cheese is that you have control over how much cheese you want to add to the dish. Since both pasta and cheese can easily be used in other dishes, you can do this without just making mac & cheese. Morning Moo: That's not powdered milk. there are other ingredients. but mostly tastes like milk powder. Given the choice, it tastes better cold than at room temperature. You will receive 4 packages with 20 servings. I haven't tried the remaining items, but I'll list how many servings of each included in the kit: Cheese (30 servings) Broccoli Cheesy Rice (30 servings) Potato Cream Soup (30 servings) Creamy Chicken Rice (30 servings) Savory Vegetable Mixture (30 servings) Instant Potatoes (30 servings) Pasta (30 servings) Oatmeal with Brown Maple Sugar (40 servings) Morning Moo Milk Formula (80 servings) Each packet also contains an oxygen scavenger. I plan to take a few packages that I haven't used yet and put them in my bag for emergencies. However, keep in mind that almost everything needs to be cooked when doing the same thing. So it's only good if you have a frying pan and access to a fire/heat. Cooking instructions are printed on the back of each pouch as well as on the packaging. Flyers included. The flyer also includes a 30- and 45-day meal planner. I was so impressed with the value and taste that I ordered 3 more of these for actual storage.
